Red Cross Swim Lessons
The LifeCenter Plus Learn-to-Swim program is based on Red Cross Levels I through VI. The introductory level begins with getting the child comfortable with the water and building confidence in the water. As they move on to higher levels, children will refine their strokes and build endurance. Registration is now open to all members and nonmembers. Fees are due when registration is submitted. Cancellations must be submitted 48 hours in advance in order to receive a full refund, please call (330) 655-2377, ext. 117.
Registration cannot be taken over the phone.
We do not provide make up classes for participants unable to attend a class, nor weather related cancellations.
We do not make confirmation calls regarding lessons; we will call if your chosen class is unavailable, or if participants must be moved, due to class population.
More classes will open based on participant population.

Aqua Kids is a fun introduction
to the water that allows each child and his/her parent to play together while learning water safety and pre-swimming skills. Bring your camera to capture
the moments that lead to your child’s life-long relationship
with the water. Parent or guardian must accompany children.
For Red Cross Lessons:
$25 for LCP Youth Member
$45 for Children of LCP Members
$65 for Nonmembers
Ages 4-16 years; Limit 8/time slot
For Aqua Kids:
$36 for Adult LCP Member
$50 for Adult Non-Member
Ages 6 Months to 4 years; Limit 24/time slot
Private Swim Lessons
Half hour 1-on-1 swim lessons taught by LifeCenter Plus’ Red Cross Certified instructors!
Anyone looking to purchase private lessons, please sign up at the front desk. Lessons will not be scheduled until payment is made. Swimmers may request an instructor or have one assigned. Once the Aquatics Department has received the private lesson form, the instructor will be assigned and they will make contact with the student to arrange times. Lessons must be scheduled around the availability of the pool. Lessons may not happen during swim team or Red Cross lessons. Check in at the front desk at the start of the lesson to receive the usage ticket and present it to the instructor every lesson.
All packages must be completed within one year of purchase. Credit will not be given on cancellations less than 24 hours or no shows. The instructors reserve the right to pull a usage slip for no shows. There are no refunds for private lessons. A total package may be split among family members within the family. Private swim lessons are now open to all members and nonmembers. Swimmers may begin lessons at age 3 and include all swim levels.
Semi-Private Swim Lessons
2 swimmer discounted lessons
Each half hour session will be done with a maximum of 2 participants; this package is geared towards siblings or friends of similar skill levels. 1 instructor will be providing the lessons.
Each lesson does not provide 15 minutes for 1 participant and 15 for another. They will be swimming together for the duration of the lesson. Participants must be of similar skill level or within 1 year age difference.
