to gentler range of motion classes for those with limited joint mobility. Read on to find which class is best for you:

HIGH INTENSITY
Surf and Turf Cross Training
12-week session.
This high-intensity, simple-to-follow class improves overall fitness levels. Cross training is using two or more types of exercise in successive workouts to condition different muscle groups, develop a new set of skills, and reduce boredom. Our instructors will encourage you to develop your full potential in these varied workouts. New members can join in anytime during the session.

MODERATE- TO HIGH-INTENSITY
Aqua Combo Class
You will use the power of the water to improve core and muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays,9:30–10:30 a.m.
Deep Water Fitness
This is a 60-minute class in deep water. Use the power of water to improve core strength, muscle strength, muscle endurance, flexibility and cardiovascular fitness. A variety of class formats and resistance equipment will keep you coming back for more!
Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:30–7:30 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9–10 a.m.
Fridays, 5:30–6:30 p.m.

Shallow and Deep Water Fitness
A 60-minute class in various depths, this combination of shallow and deep water allows participants to benefit from both low and non-impact exercise.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays1–2 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:30–5:30 p.m.
LOW- TO MODERATE-INTENSITY
This class meets in the warm water pool. The pool temperature is 90 degrees Fahrenheit as recommended by the Arthritis Foundation. Enjoy the benefits warm water provides.
Hydro-Pilates
Practicing Pilates in the water will help you develop core stabilization, enhance muscle strength, improve posture and relieve stress. The postures and movement are adaptable for anyone. Class meets in the warm water pool.
Wednesdays, noon–1 p.m.
Fridays, 1–2 p.m.
TONING, RANGE OF MOTION, ARTHRITIS
These classes meet in the warm water pool. The pool temperature is 90 degrees Fahrenheit, recommended by the Arthritis Foundation. Enjoy the benefits warm water provides.
Water Tune-Up
This gentle movement class is designed to improve joint mobility, increase strength and flexibility and decrease pain and stiffness, with the guidance of our Arthritis Foundation Aquatic Program Instructors.
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11–11:45 a.m.
Water Tune-Up Plus
This class is more challenging than Water Tune Up and includes stretching, range of motion, strength and endurance, with a longer, more intense cardio section.
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1–2 p.m.
Aquaqi
This 60-minute class includes a combination of Tai Chi, Qi Gong and balance training that will help you improve your energy, range of motion and confidence in balance.
Mondays and Wednesdays, 1–2 p.m.
Saturdays, 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.
SPECIAL CLASSES
Adult Synchronized Swim
(18 years and older; limit 20 participants)
You will learn the basic skills associated with this Olympic sport that combines ballet, gymnastic and dance movements with grace and fluidity.
Free for members, $45 for nonmembers

Be a SCUBA Diver in Just Six Days!
Requirements: proficient swimmers 10 years and older with healthy heart and lungs. (Limited to 12 students.)
Join Jim Clark, our aquatics director and NAUI SCUBA instructor, for two exciting weekends of SCUBA diving at LCP. After completing your scuba training, you will have the opportunity to become a certified scuba diver by either diving locally with your instructor or during a tropical trip of your choice via the Universal Referral.
